What a start to the RYCO 24•7 New Zealand V8 Ute Championship Series it has been so far!
V8 Utes or Pick Ups has been an exciting motorsport around the globe for the last 12 years, the 13th season is no exception.
The RYCO 24•7 New Zealand V8 Ute season kicked off with 17-car strong field at Pukekohe Park for Round #1 on 29th November – 1st December 2019.
Round #2 was no different, with 15-car field at the international track – Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.
Of the established drivers, former champions Matt Spratt, Glen Collinson and Paul Manuell were all raring for another win.
Manuell was definitely the man to beat winning both Race 1 and Race 3. Second to this was Collinson who raced through the pack to win Race 2.
The weekend’s action included practice races on Friday, qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday followed by Race 2 and Race 3 on Sunday.
